Renovation and new construction for Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The main building housing the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam that was designed by architect A.W. Weissman in 1895 and is now listed on the national monuments and historic buildings register but no longer meets today’s requirements. Due to a chronic lack of space that arose during proceeding decades, mezzanines were introduced and rooms were added to the main building in the 1950s and 60s.Read more

Development of Music Quarter Enschede, The Netherlands

A wide range of music organizations in Enschede worked together to realize their artistic ambitions and attract new audiences. Permanent contacts between the different organizations were a prerequisite for achieving these objectives. Because shared accommodation offers the best framework for maintaining such contacts, the City of Enschede provided funding for the development of a Music Quarter. Read more
